When designing his first wristwatch, Rafael Moneo departed from the two clocks that he created for the towers of Logroño and the Atocha Station, in Madrid. To achieve the perfect square, he chose for the design a system that links the bracelet inside the watch. The tall and very thin Roman numerals evoke the ancient sundials and strongly mark the dial, which stands out for its simplicity and balance. The hands incorporate the straight lines that define the whole set.
